One aspect of the costume that is not focused on as much as the dresses is the makeup. The brand of makeup exclusively used on the sets of Bridgerton is Pat McGrath Labs.

The long history of Pat McGrath and Bridgerton

In a collaboration with the founder of Shondaland, Shonda Rhimes, the makeup brand released its Pat McGrath Labs X Bridgerton collection in December of last year. The collection comprised an eyeshadow palette, three shades each of blush, and highlighters.

Hair and make-up artist Erika Okvist went on to comment on how well the products work with the “layering and the lighting“, especially when they need to be doing quick fixes.

In the wake of season 2 of the Netflix series, the second set of the Bridgerton collection will be out soon. This is when celebrated makeup artist Pat McGrath revealed that the brand was exclusively used on the sets of the Netflix Original. She also announced her new muse– and it is a Bridgerton actress!

Who is the new muse of Pat McGrath Labs?

After the release of Bridgerton season 1, we saw a lot of one actress that wasn’t the lead. Nicola Coughlan has inarguably raked up the biggest fanbase out of the entire cast of the series. With a likable nature and the ability to make any anecdote sound interesting, she won fans over instantly in interviews. Another name in the long list of people Coughlan has won over is McGrath.

Pat McGrath is the world’s most sought-after makeup artist, and she took time to reveal why Coughlan is her latest muse in an Instagram post.

The actress mentioned just how unreal this felt to her in an Instagram post, calling it a “dream come true”. Coughlan had also been invited to the runway. She was in the front seat during the release of Miu Miu’s spring collection.
