Before the release, the original Deadpool actor, Scott Adkins, who also stars alongside Reeves, talks about his role as Weapon XI in X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The actor opened up about the famous fight scene. While Deadpool 3, starring Ryan Reynolds, is already making fans excited, is there a possibility of Weapon XI’s return?
If you remember the scene where Logan travels back in time and has an intense fight with Weapon XI, it was Scott Adkins that played the character. In an interview with Ethan Alter from Yahoo! Entertainment, the actor opened up about his return and death. Remembering the shoot, Adkins revealed he did not expect Weapon XI to show up in the movie the way he did. He thought he would be wearing the Deadpool suit.

As much as he enjoyed his role as the original Deadpool, Adkins revealed to Yahoo! Entertainment that the Canadian actor figured out the character later. While he praised the Deadpool films, he also talked about his return in Deadpool 3 as well. The first Deadpool was released in 2016, followed by a sequel as well.
Is Weapon XI coming back with Ryan Reynolds in Deadpool 3?

Deadpool 3 will see Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine. While having other X-Men characters in the film, people are wondering if Weapon XI will be back. Well, there is not any official news about the return of the character. However, Adkins expressed his wish to come back in the third and the last installment of the film. The Wrexham owner also dropped a major revelation about a fan-favorite character, Peter, from the first movie.
While reminiscing about his experience in the X-Men film, he said if the 46-year-old actor called him and asked to come back, he would love to do it. Even if it meant Deadpool would kill Weapon XI once again. Because Jackman had already revealed the timeline of Deadpool 3, it would make sense if the film saw the return of Weapon XI.
