After the first trailer premiered worldwide back in October 2022, the DC fans had to wait till Super Bowl for new footage. However, the wait was all worth it. Each bit of the three-minute trailer was thrilling and unnerving for the fans. While the trailer presented to us deserves all praise, recent scoops reveal that the initial cut would have been even more exciting. As per insider Scott Menzel, the original version featured Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck, and even Jason Momoa.
Sadly, Cavill has bid farewell and Gadot’s future as Wonder Woman remains uncertain while Ben Affleck will reprise his role in this upcoming Flash film. Meanwhile, one of the fans even expressed his concern as he admitted that he is worried about how the new version would turn out after these changes. Menzel backed the fan’s comment. The insider revealed how the original version would have been a “massive success.”
Who all featured in the trailer?
The recent three-minute trailer takes the audience through Ezra Miller’s journey. Miller travels back in time to save his family. Furthermore, it introduces the fans to Michael Keaton’s Batman and Sasha Calle’s Supergirl, as Miller comes across the two in the trailer. Apart from the two, the audience also saw glimpses of the supervillain General Zod. Warner Bros even released a poster a few days ago with the title, “Worlds Collide.”

Furthermore, the Flash film will be the first movie that will truly explore the multiverse. For now, the film is set to premiere worldwide on June 16 this year.
