Money Heist Season 5: Volume 2 is hardly two months away, but Netflix has kept the fans busy until then by releasing the teaser to the 2nd volume. The Spanish series will end with the final part of the 5th and final season on 3rd December 2021.

Volume 1, which contained only five episodes, was released on 3rd September 2021. It was an instant hit with the fans.

The professor is back with a mission

While the teaser is just 25 seconds long, it reveals that the Professor wants no more casualties because of the heist. We can see other characters coping with the loss they suffered in Volume 1.

We can see the Spanish special forces in action with the gang trying to escape, but the police arrest Lisbon. Guns and explosions are a staple in this teaser too, as it has been for every season. The one thing that fans will miss is the Dali masks.

The cast of Money Heist Season 5

The main cast remains unchanged with Álvaro Morte (Professor), Itziar Ituño (Raquel), Miguel Herrán (Rio), Jaime Lorente (Denver) and Úrsula Corberó (Tokyo) as lead characters.

The other supporting actors are Monica (Esther Acebo), Palermo (Rodrigo de la Serna), Marsella (Luka Peros), Bogotá (Hovick Keuchkerian), Alicia (Najwa Nimri), Tatiana (Diana Gomez), Arturo Román (Enrique Arce), Prieto (Juan Fernandez), Coronel Tamayo (Fernando Cayo), Gandía (José Manuel Poga), and Helsinki (Darko Peric).

End of the heist

The directors and actors would be proud of themselves if they managed to end the series on a high because few have been able to do the same. For Money Heist, a series that was on the verge of being canceled, to now being one of the most-watched non-English series on Netflix, it has been a complete turnaround.

There is no point in speculating about the next season, but it can pleasantly surprise the fans if Netflix announces a spinoff series. Until then fans should wait for the last volume of Money Heist Season 5 with great expectations.
