Sydney Sweeney counts as one of those stars who perform n*de scenes with the utmost grace. She was only 21 years old when she acted in Euphoria, but the maturity with which she performed those scenes is quite appreciable.

Apart from its unique storyline, HBO’s Euphoria is also famous for its portrayal of explicit scenes. While some people consider the frequent use of such scenes unnecessary in a teen drama, many consider them relevant for the sake of the story. And Sydney Sweeney, who has done a lot of them in the show, once spoke about her thoughts on them.

Sydney Sweeney felt at ease performing n*de scenes

As bold as she is to do such scenes on an international platform, she is also very vocal about sharing her experiences. The Washington native said in the past that she was very comfortable while doing n*de scenes on the show’s set. Since the show’s script included a lot of such scenes, the makers hired an intimacy coordinator who helped the actors with their explicit scenes.

Sweeney stated that she had complete control over the n*ked scenes she performed. However, having the decision to do such scenes in her hand does not mean that she was not nervous about doing them. In fact, she initially declined the audition after learning that she would have to perform n*de scenes in the show.

According to Showbiz CheatSheet, when the offer came back to her, she decided to accept it and eventually got an Emmy nomination for her fantastic performance. Sweeney has done n*de scenes in projects other than Euphoria as well. She did a beautiful, explicit scene in the 2021 film The Voyeurs.

The 25-year-old star has been slammed in the past for doing nude scenes, but she does not care. In fact, a while ago, some people tagged her family members in her nude scenes from Euphoria. While she was disgusted about this, she also said that these types of activities encouraged her to do more such scenes in the future, just to piss these people off.
