Sadie Sink Believes a Lot of ‘Teenagers’ Will Relate to Her New Movie, ‘Dear Zoe’

Sadie Sink has become one of the most sought-after young talents in the entertainment industry. Her impeccable performance in Stranger Things made it clear that she has a long way to go. As we saw, she has gained huge public attention after Max Mayfield’s breakdown in season 4. Also, many acclaimed productions have started hiring her for movie roles which include Berlin Nobody.
While she is currently busy promoting her new movie, a coming-of-age drama based on the 2004 novel by Philip Beard. The highly anticipated film Dear Zoe finally arrived in select American theaters on November 4, 2022. And the 20-year-old actress believes a lot of ‘teenagers’ will relate to her new movie in many ways.

Sadie Sink thinks fans will resonate with the story of Dear Zoe
In a new interview with Extra TV, Sadie Sink opened up about her movie Dear Zoe. During the conversation, ‘Extra’s’ Katie Krause asked the actress: “What do you want people to feel after they watch this movie?”
In her answer to the question, Sink stated that teenage viewers will feel connected with all the raw emotions presented in the movie.
“I think it’s a beautiful coming-of-age story and I think a lot of teenagers will relate to it,” explained Sink. Moreover, she added that the audience will get to experience how people learn to move on from tragic moments of life.

Dwelling on her character in the movie, she also revealed how Tess was different from her previous roles. “It was kind of learning every day, but I think I just really have to trust myself and trust the people I was working with,” said the Stranger Things star.
Dear Zoe focuses on a teenage girl named Tess, who is grieving the loss of her young sister. Following tensions at home, she decides to live with her biological father, who is welcoming. Cast members include Sadie Sink, Vivien Lyra Blair, Kweku Collins, MacKenzie Noel Rusiewicz, Tanyell Waivers, Justin Bartha, Jessica Capshaw, and Theo Rossi.
