Ryan Reynolds Reveals One MCU Character That He Would Want Deadpool to Fight
Ryan Reynolds introduced us to the foul-mouthed, filterless superhero Deadpool in 2016. The first movie went through a lot of production drama to get made, but once it hit the theaters, it was labeled a blockbuster. The Merc with a Mouth instantly became a fan-favorite character. While Ryan was already a Hollywood mainstay before the flick, he entered the A-list category with the movie.
Now after a sequel and a threequel on its way, the actor appeared on the BuzzFeed show with his co-business partner, Rob McElhenney. While on the show, they answered some fan questions while playing with the pups. One of the questions was about the one character that the actor wants Deadpool to have a showdown with.

The actor would surely enjoy the sassy fight between the two Marvel characters. Although The Wall has never appeared on screen before, it would bring some great laughs if the fight was to happen. The Wall, or otherwise known as Joshua Waldemeyer, was a student and a part-time cement mason. When one day, a tragic incident at a construction site turned him into a literal wall. The character is most predominantly featured in Spiderman comics.
Ryan Reynolds further added that he would mind a tussle with the god of Thunder either. “I think it would be pretty epic to see Deadpool and Thor,” he confessed.
While the plot for Deadpool 3 is still under wraps, it is in production. Hugh Jackman will reprise his role as Logan in the threequel. Earlier, the film was to release on September 6, 2024, but unfortunately Disney has postponed it further. Now the film will not hit the screens before November 4, 2024.
