After starring in The Adam Project, Ryan Reynolds recently appeared in his second project for 2022, which is his holiday special Spirited. It is a rendition of Charles Dickens’s famous novel ‘A Christmas Carol’ which has been adapted innumerable times. Spirited was Reynolds’ first-ever musical, and thus, he was very “nervous” about it. He has mentioned in the past showing his daughters the previous adaptations of ‘A Christmas Carol’ and how terrifying they were after watching them.

But recently he spoke about another film that his daughters absolutely loved. Most importantly, it is a film starring Will Ferrell, his Spirited co-star. But you won’t believe how many times Reynolds’ daughters have seen that movie. Don’t worry, we know the number.

Ryan Reynolds’ daughters are absolutely in love with this movie

Soon to be the father of a fourth child, Ryan Reynolds recently revealed that his daughters absolutely love Ferrell’s Elf. “They’ve watched Elf about 10,000 times,” Reynolds told People. The Deadpool actor also said that one of the major reasons that his girls love the film is Ferrell himself. Elf is yet again a Christmas comedy that was released in the year 2003.

In this film, the protagonist learns he was raised by elves at the North Pole by accident. As a grown-up, he goes to New York in search of his real dad. Along with Ferrell, the film stars Zooey Deschanel and James Caan.

In addition to sharing his daughters’ favorite film, Ryan Reynolds also shared an incident from the set of Spirited. He told the magazine that when his daughters, James, 7, Inez, 6, and Betty, 3 came to the set of Spirited with their mother Blake Lively, they were completely “blown away”, the reason being Will Ferrell.
