Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have a song on their names
While McElhenney joined the fans of the club to watch the performance, he had no idea that he will be crying for a few minutes during the performance. The song that the band performed is titled, “It’s Always Sunny in Wrexham.” It was a song about Ryan Reynolds and him taking over the club and how happy the fans were with this move.
According to Talk Sport, when the band played the lines, “No ones spent as much as a dime, bring on the Deadpool and Rob McElhenney,” McElhenney got emotional. In fact, he was so overwhelmed with emotions and had to wipe away tears as he drew at the moment. He was so overwhelmed by the gesture that he tweeted the tune with the caption, ‘they’ll play this at my funeral’.
While all the people in the club were vibing on the song McElhenney was wiping his tears. Moreover, the hit FX documentary called Welcome to Wrexham, filmed by McElhenney and Reynolds uses it plenty of times.
Reynolds and McElhenney are actually working in the direction of the development of the club. For instance, it was only last month that the Deadpool star was successful in convincing the committee to approve the construction of a sizable new stand as part of an £18 million renovation of the stadium’s athletic amenities for Welsh football.
