Ryan Reynolds Deadpool 3 has inspired Scarlet Witch actress Elizabeth Olsen. The younger one in the Olsen clan made a career with action movies, unlike her sisters, who were part of lighter-themed, family-oriented projects. Elizabeth first a made cameo appearance in Captain America (2014). Then join the world of MCU with the 2015 movie Avengers: Age of Ultron as Wanda Maximoff or Scarlet Witch. She fit so perfectly in the character that the Marvel makers reprised her in future projects for the same.
Scarlet Witch even appeared in the 2021 mini-series WandaVision along with Vision, as the two try to live a peaceful suburban family life despite their past. This was followed by Doctor Strange movie in which Wanda plays the villain. The character eventually dies trying to make this right by the end of the movie. But being a Marvel character, there is always a scope for return. Counting on this hope is Elizabeth Olsen, who is inspired to see Deadpool 3’s inclusion of X-Men character Wolverine.
Ryan Reynolds including an X-Men mutant in Deadpool 3 inspires Elizabeth Olsen
Ryan Reynolds, through a video, announced Hugh Jackman’s return to MCU with Wolverine playing a part in Deadpool 3. The news came as excitement for every Marvel fan and even reached Elizabeth Olsen. The actress was at an event called Variety’s Power of Women.
During this, she was asked about which MCU character she would like to work along since Deadpool will have Logan in its sequel. Olsen replied that she would like to work with other X-Men characters since Wolverine is a mutant, just like Scarlet. “I think Fassbender is my dad in some world?” she answered.
Scarlet Witch is portrayed as Magneto, the Master of Magnetism’s daughter. Irish actor Michael Fassbender majorely portrays the role of Magneto in the X-Men movies. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige even hinted to Variety, “Anything’s possible in the multiverse! We’ll have to see.” agreeing that there was a lot to explore. So maybe Olsen’s wish to have her character seen with other mutants may not be a far-fetched one. What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
