You can see the result. Now, he wants to be a part of the NHL Ottawa Senators.
The Free Guy actor confirmed the rumors of his interest in buying the Ottawa Senators when he appeared on The Tonight Show. Since then, Ryan Reynolds’ fans have also been hoping he would buy the team. While there were a lot of questions about the next moves of the actor, here is what the commissioner of the NHL, Gary Bettman, has to say about his meeting with Reynolds.

Ryan Reynolds easily charmed the commissioner of the NHL
The co-owner of the Wrexham Association Football Club showed his interest in buying the Ottawa Senators. The previous owner of the team, Eugene Melnyk, passed away in March, leaving behind his daughters as the owners. In November, the official announcement of selling the team came out with the condition of keeping the team in Ottawa itself. Now, the Vancouver native and Canucks fan, Reynolds, met with the commissioner of the NHL.

Gary Bettman informed the NHL board of governors about his meeting with the actor. He also showcased a positive approach to getting the actor on board. Bettman also said it would be great if they could establish a way to have Reynolds included. Having the People’s Choice Icon on board would benefit the Senators and the league as well.

However, the actor also exclaimed before while talking about the purchase, it was very expensive. Therefore, it was a question for the actor himself if he could buy another venture or not.
