Which ’80s movie has Ryan Gosling shift his base to Australia?
Recently, 7News snapped Ryan Gosling outside their own film studio in Australia. The Crazy, Stupid Love actor has moved to the charming city of Sydney to film his newest movie, Tha Fall Guy. The action film is directed by David Leitch and is based on an ABC television show of the same name. The hit series starring Lee Majors, Heather Thomas, Douglas Barr, and more, was all the rave during its airing from 1981 to 1986.
The show followed a Hollywood stunt artist, Colt Seavers, who led an alternate life as a Bounty Hunter when the film world was at its down low. His cousin and trainee, Howie, dubbed the Kid, often joined Seavers on his escapades. A gorgeous and formidable stuntwoman, Jody Banks also often accompanied the hunts.
The Fall Guy recruits an MCU star
As reported, Ryan Gosling (The Gray Man) will portray Colt Seavers while Emily Blunt (The Quiet Place) will play Banks. The Kid, however, is an extremely recognizable star from the Marvel movies. It is Aaron Taylor-Johnson, better known as Pietro Maximoff or Wanda’s twin brother from Captain America: The Winter Soldier and in Avengers: Age of Ultron. His superhuman alter-ego is known as Quicksilver owing to his super speed.

Taylor-Johnson also acted in David Leitch’s Bullet Train. This would make The Fall Guy his second project with the celebrated director best known for Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw. While most of the plotlines are still confidential, the eminent names involved with the project show a lot of promise.
