Queen Consort hopes Harry and Meghan to attend the King’s coronation
King Charles III will officially ascend the throne on May 6, 2023. According to Buckingham Palace, the coronation ceremony will take place at Westminster Abbey where both the King and the Queen consort will be crowned. With regard to this moment in history, a Royal expert, Katie Nicholl, narrated the Queen Consort’s wishes to ET online. She is “very keen” for the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex to be present for the coronation.

Not just the Royal members, but people all over the world have many theories regarding the future of this dispute. While the Queen Consort has made her wishes apparent, the others are still “wondering if Harry and Megan and their family will come over for the coronation,” said Katie Nicholls. Many people hoped that grief at the Queen’s demise would bring the Family closer.
In fact, King Charles even extended an ‘Olive Branch’ to the couple in his first speech as an appointed monarch. Perhaps their presence at the event of the coronation “will finally signal some thawing of the rift,” stated Nicholls. Several reports suggest that the King and Queen Consort have always been accepting of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. King Charles has also expressed his sadness for being distanced from his grandkids, Lilibet and Archie.
