Season 5’s finale was a huge event. It was the end of an era. The new direction that Rick and Morty took last year shocked the fans. With the destruction of the Citadel and the Central Finite Curve fans were worried that this was the end to the consequence-free fun.
From the very early episodes, Rick would take Morty on wild adventures that would almost always take a wrong turn. However, they would quickly escape to another timeline and thus have countless crazy adventures without facing any repercussions. However, the trailers and Scott himself assured us that there’s still plenty to look forward to. The show will have more silly fun, family drama, bigger sci-fi concepts, and lots of Die Hard fans. Previously, Justin Roiland had spoken about combining both canon and non-canon episodes this season.
