The trailer for the last episode of Peaky Blinders, which airs this Sunday at 9 pm on BBC One and iPlayer, has been published by the BBC.
Tommy Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy) announces in the season 6 episode 6 teaser, which was shared on the broadcaster’s Twitter account: “Family is very important to me. They take refuge from the storm on occasion. It’s sometimes the storm itself.”
As gunfire echoes in the background, his second wife Lizzie (Natasha O’Keeffe) adds ominously, “You are cursed, Tommy.”
After the events of episode 5, we know that Michael is now hell-bent on killing Tommy. But the question remains: Is there a curse on Tommy Shelby? If yes, who put the curse on him?
Who cursed Tommy Shelby?
To say that Tommy Shelby is cursed will be really pretentious of us at this moment. We do not have any substantial evidence to support this statement. However, we can always figure out the possibility of who can curse the undefeatable Tommy Shelby.
If we go by the theory, whoever has been on the receiving end of Tommy’s wrath and ambition might have cursed him, the list will be inexhaustible. But thanks to Esme in episode 3, we get to know that only a woman can put a curse.

This does help us to narrow the list, albeit only by little. If only women can lay curses, then the prime suspect for all of Tommy’s problems, including his health, can be the woman Tommy killed for cursing his daughter, Evadne Barwell.
Or it can be Esme. Since we all know that Esme has not forgiven Tommy and the Shelby family for John’s death, it can be she who wants to see Tommy fail. Still, we’ll have to wait for the episode to drop on Sunday to find the truth. After all, these are just predication that might or might not come true.
