Grammy Award winner Lady Gaga may bag the Oscar Awards as well. At least that is what the fans are buzzing over right now. After a successful music career, the Poker Face singer stunned everyone with her acting skills as well. She is now up for a challenge to impress DC fans, as she dropped the first look of her new avatar.

Gaga is known for her unique fashion sense and has been clicked in a Harley Quinn costume before. But this is no costume party. Fans are stunned by her first look as the hilariously dangerous henchwoman of the Joker. As the picture went viral, fans are going gaga over the photo.

Her fan account, Gaga Daily, posted the photo of the DC film’s first look on Twitter. The pose has her sharing intense eye contact with Joaquin Phoenix, who is possibly reprising his role as the Joker. The Shallow singer is drenched in her new avatar with blonde hair, dark eyebrows, and Quinn’s iconic mole below the eye. Although the first look is dropped, there is little information on Joker 2 so far.

There were speculations of Lady Gaga playing Harley Quinn for a while. But both Lady Gaga and DC fans received Valentine’s gift with a confirmation photo of her role. With the post of Joker 2 out, thrilled fans are already counting on her to bag an Oscar. Film creator Todd Phillips is supposedly making the character of Quinn darker than before, intensifying Gaga’s presence in the movie. But even the mere picture of her has fans in confidence.

A lot of them are counting on an Oscar win for Lady Gaga. “I smell an Oscar,” wrote one commentator. Another one said, “I can see an Oscar in the bag”. While that may be a stretch for some, the actress did grab Grammy’s, Golden Globes, Academy Awards, and BAFTA Awards for her song Shallow in A Star Is Born. 

This is not the first time that the character of Harley Quinn will be portrayed on the screen. Margot Robbie was earlier credited for her role as Harley Quinn in the Suicide Squad and Birds of Prey. Joker was released in 2019 while its sequel is set to hit the screens in 2024. It will be seen how Lady Gaga fills in the shoes of the Barbie actor as the DC villain now.
