Anyone would be nervous around such a person, and Kit shared that he was nervous too, working with Olivia Coleman.

Kit Connor and Olivia Coleman worked together recently in a British coming-of-age romantic comedy show, Heartstopper. The show explores primarily the story of Charlie and Nick, young gay boys. It is adapted from a graphic novel of the same name by Alice Oseman. Both the show and the novel explore the lives of teenagers who belong to the LGBTQ+ community and their psyche.

When Josh asks Kit about the moments h enjoyed the most with Olivia, Kit remembers this scene from the show where his character Nick discusses his sexuality with his mother Sarah.

Kit explains that when they were reading the lines for the first time, he just went 50% into the character. On the other hand, he noticed a tear falling down her face. That was an unbelievable moment. He says that he couldn’t stop thinking about how he was going to act alongside this absolutely stunning actor. This moment made him realize how extremely skillful she was and he needed to bring his A-game to be able to match the energy.
