In a new post shared by Fandom Wire on Twitter, they asked fans to put in their opinions on whether they would like Dev Patel to play Reed Richards. Since rumors have been circulating on the internet that The Green Knight star is the top choice for this role.
In their response to the tweet, fans showed their disagreement with the rumors, saying he is not the right fit. This debate has been going on for a long time and there are several great actors in line. For instance, Reed Richards became a hot topic after John Krasinski starred in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
According to Hollywood Insider, there are five top candidates who will be perfect to portray this clever MCU character. Apart from Krasinski, it includes Will Smith, Henry Cavill, Colin Farrell, and Lee Byung-hun.
