The upcoming Netflix comedy movie, Family Switch, will borrow pages from the children’s book, Bedtime for Mommy by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. The movie will feature Ed Helms alongside Jennifer Garner as two parents who swap bodies with their children. Adding even more humor to the plate is the family dog who swaps places with the kids’ baby brother! Amidst the Netflix trend of bringing back their favorite actors in comedies, the movie shall be a fun and creative collaboration directed by McG, who has also directed Rim Of The World.
The crux of the family swap, which happens due to a visit to an astrologer, is centered around the characters navigating through life and adapting to the changes. Moreover, with the movie coming along right in time for the holidays, it hopes to be added to many families’ watchlists.
Interestingly, Family Switch will also pay homage to one of Jennifer Garner’s cult-classic from about two decades back. The 2004 movie has since attained a cult-like status and finds Garner in a very similar yet opposite role.

In 13 Going on 30, the actress plays a 13-year-old who wakes up in her 30-year-old self’s body. Meanwhile, in Family Switch, Garner switches places from her adult self to her daughter’s body. Subtly playing both sides of the coin with the two movies.
