Those born in the 90s and early 2000s know what a big deal going to arcade centers and playing your favorite games for just a few cents per round was. We do not know about others, but our favorite was the Tekken series. The game was a perfect blend of action with a captivating storyline. What appealed to Netflix more, the action or the story, we do not know. But they just announced a TEKKEN: BLOODLINE series in the making. And we are going bananas over it!

TEKKEN: BLOODLINE animated series

Netflix is always opting to pick up projects for their original animations. Netflix’s animation list is the underdog of the streaming site. Over the years, shows like DOTA and Nightmare of the Wolf have proved that Netflix is capable of producing animation just like live-action shows.

Now adding to this ever-growing list will be TEKKEN: BLOODLINE. Mere four hours into 20th March, Netflix announced the animated series based on the immensely popular video game that will be arriving this year.

Netflix posted on their Twitter account announcing the release.

We have a teaser trailer too

Besides the announcement of the slated release later this year. Netflix also released a teaser of the show and an official poster that focused solely on the hero Jin Kazama.

The teaser also teases some of the Tekken characters that will feature in the program, including Heihachi Mishima, Kazuya Mishima, Leroy Smith, King, Jun Kazama, Paul Phoenix, and Ogre.
