There has been a lot of discussion around the exit of Henry Cavill from the Netflix show The Witcher. Fans are constantly speculating the reasons why he might have left the show when the story was at its peak. The British actor is an avid gamer and possesses extensive knowledge of the source material. So it is obvious people started pointing out that the Man of Steel star might have left the show because the creators did not go with the original work. Even many reports over the internet suggested Cavill was not satisfied with the show’s direction. However, this is not the first time the 39-year-old has left a project because of creative differences.

Back in 2015, Henry Cavill walked out of the action thriller Stratton just five days before the shooting. The reason behind this abrupt decision was that the team members did not agree on some things. “It is with great regret that we announce that Henry Cavill has pulled out of ‘Stratton’ due to creative differences on the script of the movie,” GFM Films said in a statement as reported by Variety.

Not to mention, his exit from the production team delayed the filming process set to begin in June of that year. Directed by Simon West, this movie is based on the novel series of the same name by Duncan Falconer.

Even though the actor couldn’t be a part of this project his excitement was evident that he wanted to do this. Since he said in his statements how much he has waited for this opportunity to finally come.

What the future holds for Henry Cavill without his Geralt of Rivia? 

As mentioned earlier the Immortals alum quitted from the fan-favorite fantasy series last year. Fans will see him for the last time donning his armor in the upcoming season 3. Liam Hemsworth will take over the role from season 4.

Henry Cavill will move forward with his other project that brings his profession and passion to life. He announced a Warhammer show in December 2022 in which he will star and act as an executive producer as well. Currently, the project is in the first phases of pre-production and Amazon is looking for a creative team.
