It seems Millie’s love affair with the 80s is not going to end anytime soon. Born a Gen Z but interestingly she has this old-world charm that makes her a perfect fit for projects set in the 80s or in the 18th century. Millie Bobby Brown killed it in Stranger Things and was delightful in corsets in Enola Holmes! And now her next movie is yet again set in the 1980s. 

The 18-year-old was recently spotted shooting for the movie The Electric State looking like a young Winona Ryder. The Russos definitely had a new look in mind for Millie Bobby Brown, for she looked far from her usual glamorous self. Where did that blonde beauty go who served looks on red carpets?

As per OK, the young actress was clicked wearing a denim dungaree with a black and white long-sleeved top underneath filming in Atlanta. She also had a purple flannel shirt tied around her waist. Her long blonde hair was styled into beachy waves and the makeup was minimal, with only brown lipstick. Just like her makeup, her accessories were also minimal.

This is not the first time that Brown has channeled her co-star Winona Ryder. In season 4 of the Netflix series, fans noted the similarities between her and Winona’s styles. It seemed she had taken after her reel mother’s style, donning the casual fits and short bangs. 

The Electric State does not have a release date yet. But is it expected to release sometime in 2024. The sci-fi adventure flick follows Millie’s character as she goes on a search for her brother. On her way, a cute robot, who is supposedly sent by her brother, joins her in her search. The movie is based on Simon Stalenhag’s graphic novel. Apart from Brown, it also stars Anthony Mackie and Chris Pratt. 

If 2024 seems too far away, the Godzilla actress has yet another project lined up for the latter half of 2023. The Netflix mainstay is set to appear in another Netflix production, Damsel. But there is nothing that screams damsel in distress from the first few looks of the movie.
