The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle has been neck deep in the quagmire of controversies ever since she kicked off Archetypes in August. A slew of royal experts and the press always kept a close tab on the former American actress in each and every word that she said in the podcast. Starting from blaming her to script the podcast to not having interviewed any of the guests in real, they said it all. However, walking on the face of it all, it seems Meghan Markle’s hard work and efforts have finally paid off.

A few hours ago, EOnline released a list of potential winners who bagged their positions for the People’s Choice Award. Back in the month of October, Markle breached the top headlines as Archetypes was nominated for the best Pop Podcast of 2022. Undoubtedly, without a moment’s delay, trenchant criticism and backlashes followed. Nevertheless, the Duchess continued undaunted with her bold and awakening podcasts. Markle fans are delighted to see the list under the winners and so are we!

Archetypes – Meghan Markle bags People’s Choice Award for Best Pop Podcast of 2022

The category of The Pop Podcast of 2022 highlights the name, Archetypes, by the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle. Amongst the seven other top-tier podcasts of the year, Archetypes stands out to overpower them all. Armchair Expert with Dad Shepard, Call Her Daddy and Conan O’Brien Needs a Friend were among the major front runners for the award. The list of nominations also consisted of the Jason Bateman-led podcast, SmartLess. However, it is Meghan Markle who is taking the award home.

Markle’s podcast showed tremendous strength and substance that single-mindedly aimed at voicing fundamental and basic rights for women. Ever since the first session to the very last, Markle aimed at breaking the stereotypes of women in modern society to make this world a better place to live in. Starting from inviting the First Lady of Canada to Bollywood’s Queen, Deepika Padukone all the way to turning to the best comedian of the west, Trevor Noah, Markle conquered it all. Her famous closing lines,What didn’t you do to bury me? But you forgot I was a seed” has been making the most noise.

Markle’s win at the People’s Choice Award comes amidst the Sussexes win at the Robert F Kennedy Foundation. The Couples received the Ripple of Hope Awards for their heroic stance against structural racism in Britain’s Oldest Institution. It is none other than The Imperial Family.
