Julia Garner and Florence Pugh looked like they were attending two different events. They both attended ‘The Wonder’ LA Tastemaker, which was held on 21 November. Garner was in all red, as she wore a long coat by Temperley London from their Spring 2023 collection, while Pugh was in all black, wearing a bralet and a long skirt by Galvan. The actress is known for making quirky and colorful dress choices for her Red Carpet looks. The Wonder was released on 2 November and sees Pugh in the lead with Tom Burke, Ciaran Hinds, Elaine Cassidy, etc.

The Sebastian Leilo-directed mystery thriller is a period flick based in 1862. In the movie, a nurse is sent to a village in Ireland to observe a ‘wonder’ girl who is alive and well, despite not eating any food. While it grabs everyone’s attention, there is a question of whether the whole thing is a hoax.

While the English actress received praise for her role, she missed out on the role of Madonna to the Inventing Anna actress. Others on the shortlist were Alexa Demie and Emma Laird. Although no release date has been set for the movie, the 63-year-old singer wishes to fill the crew position with skilled women. Despite the direct competition, both actresses seem to support each other’s careers, which is apparent by Garner’s appearance at Pugh’s event.
