After ‘Don’t Worry Darling’, Florence Pugh to Play a Nurse in New Netflix Movie the ‘The Wonder’

Florence Pugh is being cast in yet another masterpiece The Wonder on Netflix. After once again reminding everyone of her brilliance in Don’t Worry Darling, Pugh will now be starring in a period flick. This marks the return of the actress to Netflix after Outlaw King. In the Victorian era, adolescent girls used to claim that they can survive long periods of time without any nourishment whatsoever. And that they were chosen by God. While the movie isn’t supernatural it is Florence Pugh’s journey to discovering The Wonder.

What is The Wonder about?

The period drama flick has already won hearts after being premiered at the Telluride Fim Festival. Additionally, it is being directed by Sebastian Lelio who is widely applauded for his brilliant work in A Fantastic Woman and Disobedience.

Just like the cherry on top of a cake, the screenplay will be written by Academy Award-winning writer, Emma Donoghue.
