Whereas Eddie’s death was unnecessary fans stated as he and Dustin almost reached the safe point. And they could have used his charismatic character in the final season of Stranger Things. Also, the explosion of Upside Down into Hawkins didn’t have that exhilarating impact as it looked in the trailer. People are simply moving around and packing their things like it’s so normal. Meanwhile, they left Max on the deathbed where she is lost and no one knows when she will wake up.

Twitter is overflown with memes and comments

The aftermath has led fans down and they think the ending wasn’t rewarding on Twitter.

A fan complained about how other characters forget about Eddie with smiling faces in the end.

On the other hand, a fan said he didn’t like it but he appreciated the efforts the Duffer Brothers made to shoot this during the pandemic.
