Oh, thank god, I knew I wasn’t the only one who thought these last two episodes were basic, histrionic, and homogenized. What the actual hell? Why do people create stories that rely on the pace of sense-of-urgency and then, you know, drop it for no reason? Oh, “I’m back together with the person I’ve been pining for, I guess we’ll just pretend the rest of this stuff isn’t still happening.” And why on earth do we put these characters through so much just to have them revert to being inauthentic and shy? “Nancy, are we okay?” No, dude, we’re *ucking not but for some reason, even though I just kicked a whole season’s worth of ass, I’m gonna act like a distressed maiden. WTF?!?! She should’ve walked right up to him and said “I’m glad you’re here, we need to break up” and he would have said “Yes, I know” and then they could fight the good fight WITHOUT BARRIERS because they would have dealt with their *hit. And WHY does Eleven love Mike? Why does Will love Mike? He’s literally worthless. And for the love of all that is holy why make us watch scenes like putting El in the salt bath/freezer ONLY TO TAKE HER OUT AT THE END AND NOT MAKE ANY CONNECTION THAT SHE DIDN’T NEED IT IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?
