Kanye West sees his parents in him and Kim. Ye, who lost the love of his life, recently confessed how his ex-wife reminds him of his parents. The artist has always been very open and vocal about his personal relationships, including the one he shared with his family while growing up. His mother, Donda West, was a University professor while his father Ray was a former Black Panther member and one of the first black photographers.

Ye clearly grew up in an educated household, which helped him solidify his confidence no matter what opinions he has. The artist was once married to the love of his life, socialite Kim Kardashian with whom he has four kids. Kanye West himself once stood as a candidate for the presidency. Though that did not work out, he is known for being an openly conservative and right-leaning citizen. This would often clash with his liberal wife and socialite, Kim, or her family. During an interview with Tucker Carlson for Fox News, he compared this aspect of their relationship to that of his parents.

Donda West, Kanye West’s late mother, was a liberal, while his father Ray was more on the conservative political spectrum. They also divorced the way Kanye did, while he was still young. Ye grew up under his mother’s care after his parents divorced, despite which he ended up taking somewhat after his father’s ideas. Mentioning his wife, the Gold Digger singer says Kim is a Christian, but her team, or ‘people’, want her to show off her a** as a 40-year-old multi-millionaire with four black children.

He exclusively told Tucker, “This is.. how fashion wants… to present her.” Apparently, he did not want her doing certain projects once they were married, growing increasingly possessive and trying to control the SKKN owner. Even though the news of their divorce is quite old now, it seems like Kanye is not over his lady love yet, and mentions her often in his interviews.
