And now he has lost the most essential title of the richest rapper in the world to another rapper, and it is not Jay-Z.

Kanye West is dethroned by Diddy from the seat of the wealthiest rapper

According to the information sent out by COMPLEX, Diddy has taken the seat of Kanye West on the list of 2022’s wealthiest hip-hop artists. A former Forbes editor, Zack O’Malley, reported that Jay-Z holds the first spot as the richest musician in the American industry, with a net worth of $1.5 billion. Meanwhile, the Dark Fantasy singer was in the second spot with $250 million as per his last year’s earnings.

However, West’s controversial comments changed the whole graph and Adidas dropped him from the Yeezy collaboration. Now he takes third place on the list after Sean Combs, known by his stage name Diddy. The 45-year-old star had reached a $2 billion net worth before he made raging comments about Jewish people.

As for Diddy, he has a net worth of $1 billion, of which a major part comes from his Cîroc partnership with Diageo. His other assets include his $90 million worth of collaborations with Revolt and DeLeón Tequila.

It seems the mighty kingdom of the fashion designer has dissolved in a few moments as he now stands with $400 million worth assets. The withdrawal of the Adidas partnership was the biggest strike that led to his net worth decline. However, the singer seems to have no remorse for this loss as he stated, “And I’m still alive.”
