Jenna aka Jennifer Garner and Matty aka Mark Ruffalo played a married couple, Ellie and Louis, as a married couple in Netflix’s new sci-fi adventurous film, The Adam Project. Suddenly, Ellie and Louise’s lives turn upside down when a future version of their son, Adam, will visit the 12-year-old younger version of Adam to save the future.

In conversation with People, Mark Ruffalo said, “It was like we picked up where we left off. It was like Jenna and Matty went off and had Ryan Reynolds as a kid, and no one can understand how he got so tall.”

To which Jennifer Garner added, “I know he was excited to be with me and I was too. We had a great time.”

It is just like we witnessed Jenna and Matty’s future, where they get married, have a kid, and lead a happy family life. And Mark Ruffalo seems to think so as well. Recently, he tweeted a quick clip of Garner and him recreating the scene from 13 Going on 30, with a twist. The image now includes Ryan Reynolds, who is leaning towards his parents. Ruffalo captioned the tweet as, “Jenna + Matty = our darling son, @VancityReynolds #TheAdamProject.”

To be very honest, we never predicted a future like this for Jenna and Matty, where Ryan Reynolds will be their son. But this reunion is indeed a heartwarming situation for all the 13 Going on 30 fans.
