Months into the wait for Stranger Things Season 5, fans are ready to take up any clue of what it is going to be like at this point. While the brothers were at the Tudum theaters, they gave fans a rough picture of what the upcoming season of Stranger Things is going to be like.

If there is one thing Stranger Things fans are sure of and are excitedly expecting, it is more 80s pop culture references. With all that has gone down in the previous season, season 5 has a lot to cover. And since it is the final season of the thriller extravaganza, fans have a lot of expectations. How did the Duffer Brothers almost spoil Stranger Things Season 5?

Four seasons and 13 Emmy nominations later, we have all established the fact that the Duffer Brothers are the antonym of their names. The well-built plot, layered characters, and carefully placed 80s pop references are not something just anyone can pull off.

Speaking of the raved-about vintage pop culture references in the Netflix series and on whether season 5 will have new ones, Shawn Levy said that more than the pop references it is going to be about the people. Furthermore, the Duffer brothers said that “It’s got a little bit of everything“.

Given that it is the finale, the Brothers have their focus on completing the character arcs of all the Stranger Things characters that we have grown so fond of.
