“It would be ridiculous” – Why Finn Wolfhard Wants ‘Stranger Things’ to End After Season 5?
Released in 2016, Stranger Things continues to be one of the most iconic shows on Netflix. The sci-fi Netflix original took the world by storm when it first made its way to the streaming platform. Spanning over four seasons, Stranger Things is amongst the best shows in the world. However, like all good things, Stranger Things too will reach its end. As we all know, the sci-fi show will conclude after the release of its fifth season.

As fans, we would never want our favorite shows to end. However, the sad part is that a show no matter how popular it is has to conclude. Likewise, the Hawkins story arc also approaches the end with its fifth and final season. While it is surely emotional for the fans and the cast, Mike a.k.a. Finn Wolfhard feels that the show coming to an end with season 5 makes a lot of sense.

Finn Wolfhard not a fan of the idea of a sixth season of Stranger Things
As we all know, the cast of Stranger Things has been together for a very long time. So similar to the fans even the actors are emotional about the showing reaching its end. And recently, Finn Wolfhard who plays the role of Mike revealed that it will be hard to see the show end. However, Wolfhard is also clear about not being up for the idea of a sixth season. In an interview with Uproxx, Wolfhard revealed how he feels that a sixth season for the sci-fi drama is “ridiculous.”
In continuation he added, “Also to me, if Stranger Things went on any longer than five, I would say it would be ridiculous.” Furthermore, Wolfhard revealed that season 5 would feature the dynamics of season four although more contained. Meanwhile, the actor also hopes that the show gives a complete ending to each character.

Elsewhere, director James Cameron had a few things to say about the aging cast as well. The Avatar fame revealed how he learned a major casting lesson while filming Stranger Things. As per Cameron, the child actors in the Stranger Things project looked ‘older’ than what the script said. And considering what Cameron said, Finn Wolfhard’s point of not having a sixth season seems genuine.

Meanwhile, with this New Year, we move one step closer to getting the fifth season of Stranger Things. While there is no release date for the same, the creators revealed that the first episode would be named “The Crawl.”
