“It Hurt Me to..” Throwback to When Michael Jai Reacted to Will Smith and Chris Rock Incident
Will Smith is one of the most popular actors of this generation. Over the years, he has starred in numerous films and shows, giving the audience some very memorable roles. And as a result of all his hard work and dedication, the actor was all set to receive his first Oscar in 2022.
However, what was supposed to be a prominent event for Smith turned out to be one of the most drastic moments of the actor’s life. The actor shocked the world when he slapped Chris Rock at the Oscars.

Ever since the Oscar incident, Will Smith has been going through a rough patch. Most of his projects are on hold or canceled. While a handful of celebrities stood by the actor, several other popular individuals severely criticized him following the Oscar incident. Amongst the many celebrities who called out the actor for his actions was Michael Jai. Previously, the American actor and martial artist had some strong words for the Men In Black star.

On 28th March, Smith shocked the world when he slapped comedian Chris Rock over a joke he made about Jada Pinkett Smith. While the actor has apologized for a number of times for the Oscar incident, it seems like there’s still time till Chris forgives the Emancipation star. Over the past few months, a number of celebrities have called out the I Am Legend actor for his actions. And among them was Michael Jai who had a few words for Smith during an interview with DJ Vlad. The actor called Smith, a bully.
Furthermore, Jai spoke, “It Hurt me to the soul. It’s not an excuse but I do understand the situation and the world that they start to build where you think whatever whims you have is justified.” Furthermore, he revealed he was extremely unhappy to see Smith humiliate Rock at the Oscars. However, recently, Rock took a dig at the Emancipation star as he returned to the Oscars for a stage show.
