Is Josh Brolin’s 2017 Film ‘Only The Brave’ Available on Netflix? Where Can You Stream It?
Believe it or not but Josh Brolin was saving lives instead of snapping them out of existence in the 2017 movie Only The Brave. Millennials may only recognize him as Thanos from Avengers or Cable from Deadpool, but beyond the Marvel Cinematic Universe, he isn’t a celestial being trying to erase half of the population. It’s a biographical film that is based on the devastating true story of the Yarnell Hill Fire in 2013. The movie pays homage to the 19 brave men that tried to fight the raging inferno and save their town. But is Only The Brave available on Netflix? Let’s find out.
What is the movie about?
Eric Marsh supervises a local type-2 firefighting team in Prescott, Arizona. But he knows very well that his men won’t necessarily be at the forefront if a fire threatens to burn down their entire town. So he pushes his team through rigorous training to become certified Type-2 firefighters. This leads to the birth of the elite Granite Mountain Hotshots. The hotshots get a chance to prove their mettle when a lightning bolt strikes their town near Yarnell. While the wildfire looked controllable at first, Marsh knew how quickly it could get out of hand. And before long, it threatened to consume his entire team and the town of Prescott.
