How would you feel if actors like Ryan Reynolds, Ryan Gosling, Chris Evans, or Henry Cavill stand in front of you? What if you are supposed to be in the same room with these men or any of your favorite stars? Well, there was a time when the Blonde actress, Ana de Armas, was afraid and nervous about being in the same room as the La La Land actor when she was auditioning for Blade Runner 2049.

Blade Runner 2049 is a 2017 sci-fi action film starring Ryan Gosling along with Harrison Ford, Ana de Armas, Sylvia Hoeks, Robin Wright, and more. The film got mixed reviews. But did you know when the Blonde actress was auditioning for the role in the movie, she was terribly shaking? As per People, the third time when she went in for the audition, she knew The Notebook star would be there. “I was shaking so badly,” admitted the actress to American Airlines’ in-flight magazine, American Way.

They put the duo in the room for chemistry testing. While remembering that day, Armas expressed her wish of having that tape with her. She said she had been lucky enough to have all the handsome co-workers. But the best part, as she admitted, was all of them were the best partners in the films.

Not only the Deep Water star, but also Alfre Woodard praised Gosling. Armas and Gosling starred in the Netflix Original movie The Gray Man as well and so did Woodard, who expressed her feelings about working with the duo and said Gosling always looked out for women. She said whenever Armas had any suggestions or opinions, Gosling would always support her.

The duo does not have any other projects together currently. However, the Knives Out actress received recognition for her spectacular performance in Blonde.

Ana de Armas got many nominations for Blonde

In 2022, the actress won the Hollywood Rising Star Award at Deauville American Film Festival for Blonde. She also got a nomination for Best Actress in a Motion Picture–Drama at the 2023 Golden Globe Awards. While getting many nominations for and wins for her film Blonde, the actress also received major recognition at the 2023 Academy Awards.

She has secured the nomination for Best Actress at the upcoming Academy Awards. Along with the Academy Awards, she also bagged a nomination for Best Female Performance in an International Production at the upcoming Actors and Actresses Union Awards.
