The former Scottish football manager gained the title of Sir for the right reason. Being known for his down-to-earth but decisive personality, even Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney could not help but feel nervous. Manchester United uploaded a video on YouTube where the Wrexham owners were on a video call along with Sir Ferguson. But while the two chatted, he just stared at them with no response. Intimidated by the silence, they made up an excuse about McElhenney having a hair appointment and cut off the call. “I panicked“, said Reynolds as his co-owner shockingly asked what just happened.

After the call ended, Sir Ferguson’s assistant asked him how the video call went. He simply replied that the two were on mute and he could not actually hear the two speak. The hilarious video was obviously a planned one and likely an idea by the Wrexham duo. But it was all to announce that Wrexham will be playing against Manchester United at the Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego on July 25th.
