Henry Cavill is not going to join the House of The Dragon
Ever since the show introduced the story of the great king Aegon Targaryen, fans have cast their vote in favor of Henry Cavill essaying the role. Aegon was the only king to conquer Westeros and unite the Seven Kingdoms. Fans have used their creativity to envision the actor riding Black Dread Balarion and flying into Westeros to claim it.

Cavill, certainly, fits the role well. The actor is no stranger to fantasy shows. He has enough experience playing a badass character as seen from his monster-slaying persona in The Witcher. However, it seems that he is not keen on taming a dragon yet let alone even riding it.

He recently made an appearance on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, where he denied joining the show. “I think it would be cool to be in Westeros, but I don’t think there’s a place for me there though,” he said. But he added that he does watch the show. In fact, he reckons most of them can actually make good witches.
Fans have already gotten their wish to see Cavill return as Superman in Black Adam and in the DCEU. Maybe they have to wait a while for this one wish to come true. House of The Dragon will return for more seasons. And Superman might change his mind in the future!
