How Marvel Disappointed Henry Cavill’s Fans at the D23 Expo
One of the most prominent actors of the current generation, Henry Cavill, was an integral part of the DC Universe in the past. It was his character Clark Kent in the 2013 Man of Steel that helped him earn recognition worldwide. Cavill again collaborated with Warner Bros Discovery for movies including 2016 Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice and 2017 Justice League.
However, post the 2017 movie, there has been no collaboration between the 39-year-old and DC. Often there have been speculations regarding Henry Cavill being a part of DC Extended Universe again, but things haven’t materialized yet. Meanwhile, the rumors of the actor collaborating with the Marvel team are also floating in the industry. There was a strong buzz among the fans about Henry attending the D23 expo, but the news didn’t have any truth to them.

Marvel upsets the Henry Cavill fans
Just the thought of seeing Henry Cavill in the Marvel Cinematic Universe is enough to excite the fans. Cavill possesses all the attributes including a fabulous fan base, muscular physique, superman image, and spectacular acting skills to interest the Marvel head Kevin Feige. Ahead of Disney’s D23 expo event in California, reports claimed that Marvel will be announcing their association with some high-profile actors including Henry Cavill, Denzel Washington, John Krasinski, Giancarlo Esposito, John Boyega, Jodie Comer, and Daisy Edgar-Jones.
The fans went berserk with the news and had their eyes set on the big announcement. However, the event saw no such remarkable decisions and Henry Cavill’s fans were the most disappointed with the same. Though the rumors turned out to be false, fans are expecting the British actor to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the future.

This is not the first time that the news of the Man of Steel actor appearing in the Marvel project has floated into the market. Previously, some reports had claimed that the 39-year-old will be joining the MCU with the role of Wonder Man of Hyperion in Loki Season 2.
While Marvel fans are upset with the news, DC fans are rejoicing. The DCEU viewers are hoping for a reconciliation between Warner Bros and Cavill to see the actor as Superman once again.
