How Is Kanye West Redeeming Himself After Criticizing Vogue Editor?
As a surprise to no one at all, Kanye West AKA Ye finds himself yet again at the center of controversy. This time it was at Paris Fashion Week when the rapper sported a “White Lives Matter” sweatshirt as he showcased the Season 9 collection of his brand, Yeezy. Apart from the numerous tweets condemning his action, a major backlash was from Vogue Fashion Editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson. Gabriella made her disdain public by posting about it on her Instagram stories and called the act “deeply offensive, violent and dangerous.”
This obviously did not go well with the Power singer as he, in turn, slammed her fashion sense and hurled other insults. Karefa-Johnson’s employer Vogue and well as her friend and supermodel Gigi Hadid came to her defense and called Kanye out for his behavior. However, looks like the rapper and record producer tried to mend fences with the Vogue editor. Let us see how it went down.

Kanye West made amends after jibing at the Vogue Editor
On Tuesday, October 4, Kanye West uploaded a post on Instagram with a picture of Gabriella Karefa-Johnson. A long caption beginning with “GABBY IS MY SISTER” recounted the event of the two meeting up earlier that day for a couple of hours. They even had dinner together in New York City at a well-known Italian restaurant called Ferdie.

According to Kanye, Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour even requested Baz Luhrmann, the director of Elvis, to film the entire meeting.
“WE TOOK PICS AND I WAS INSTRUCTED NOT TO POST THEM,” revealed the Flashing Lights rapper.
Kanye was under the misconception that Vogue was using Karefa-Johnson like “Trevor Noah and other black people” specifically to voice against Ye’s expression.

Gabriella cleared the air by confirming that “her company did not instruct her” to speak against Kanye’s T-shirt. The Yeezy Mogul even illustrated that the two “apologized to each other ” and “actually got along.”
Kanye ended the post with “SHE DISAGREED I DISAGREED WE DISAGREED. AT LEAST WE BOTH LOVE FERDIE AND FASHION.”
