Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have once again come under the scanner. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex left the United Kingdom following the Queen Elizabeth II state funeral to reunite with their children, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor in California. There were a lot of speculations regarding the relationship between the family improving post the Queen’s demise. 

However, it is now revealed that Harry and Meghan departed from Britain on a sour note. The royal couple is upset with Harry’s father King Charles III for not bestowing their children with Her Royal Highness and His Royal Highness titles. With their grandfather the new monarch, Archie and Lilibet will be called Prince and Princess instead of Master and Miss. However, their children not getting the HRH titles has left the couple furious and upset over the royal family. A royal expert did not seem much happy with Harry and Meghan’s behavior as he slammed them for the same. 

Harry and Meghan bashed for trying to burden their children

The royal author Dan Wootton feels that it’s “highly inappropriate” for Harry and Meghan to be having such discussions. The author believes that it is time to pay respect to the late monarch by uniting as a royal family and not complaining about the titles or roles. 

He further called out Harry and Meghan for wanting to include their children in a setup that they completely despise in his new piece for Daily Mail. “Not only is it highly inappropriate to be having such discussions at this moment, I find it utterly bizarre that a couple so opposed to the institution would be so desperate to burden their American children with titles that carry such responsibilities.” Wootton said as quoted by The News. 

King Charles III has not provided His Royal Highness and Her Royal Highness titles to his American-based grandchildren, as they will not be working royals just like their parents. They also stripped the Sussex couple of their HRH titles two years back. In 2020, Harry and Meghan parted ways with the House of Windsor to live an independent life in California.
