Here’s how Millie Bobby Brown and Boyfriend Jake Bongiovi Hilariously Celebrated 25 Years of ‘Butterfly’ with Mariah Carey
Remember the iconic music video for the 1997 Honey by ‘Songbird Supreme’ Mariah Carey? It was the lead single from her chart-topping and foot-tapping album titled Butterfly. So it is only fitting that the ‘Queen of Christmas’ brings in the silver jubilee of her super hit album with that song. Only this time, with a little help from Millie Bobby Brown and her beau Jake Bongiovi.
While Carey’s entire career has been exemplary, Butterfly always stood out. In fact, the single Honey reigned at the number 1 spot for over 3 weeks in 1997 on the Billboard Hot 100. Let us see how Carey and the Stranger Things actress ensued hilarity while celebrating the 25-year anniversary of the phenomenal album.

Mariah Carey relives Honey with Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi
On Saturday, September 17, Mariah uploaded a 30-second parody clip of her own song Honey. She posted the video on her Instagram account with the caption, “Reliving the splendor of the Honey video with surprise guests!” The comical rendition had MC recreate her role as the Hispanic damsel while Millie Bobby Brown and Bongiovi embodied the seemingly vicious yet comical kidnappers.

As Brown and Bongiovi try their quirkiest to intimidate a tied-up, Carey, Mimi’s tiny tots Monroe and Moroccan show up in the clip. The adorable 11-year-old twin boys delivered the wacky “go eat a buffet” line by comedian Eddie Griffin that appeared as an intro in the original music video. Funnily enough, Mariah and Brown also hung out back in August 2020. The singer had posted an adorable picture with the caption, “A surprise visit by Enola Holmes a.k.a. princess Millie!”
