‘The Witcher Blood Origins’ Joey Batey Makes a Sad Confession About Henry Cavill’s Exit From the Netflix Drama Series, “It was a lill gutting because…”
Christmas this year is going to be special. Not only because the world is free of Covid-19’s grasp and we can now move around freely or with minimal precautions, but because fans are finally getting to feast their eyes on the origin story of The Witcher. Set some 1200 years before the conjunction of spheres, The Witcher: Blood Origin will soon port us to the backstory of the very first monster-butchers. However, with the exit of Henry Cavill, not all in the witcherverse are happy.
Just one sun earlier, the cast and crew of the prequel series arrived at the London studio to celebrate its premiere. However, it seems like Joey Batey is more sad than happy! The reason you ask? Well, it has to be nothing else than Cavill’s decision to disown his elven sword for once and all. When Metro UK talked about the whole scenario, the fan-favorite bard expressed his disappointment with great melancholy.

The Witcher’s Jaskier is not happy to bid goodbye to Henry Cavill
Apparently, when the reporter asked about Batey’s thoughts on Cavill’s exit from Netflix’s fantasy series, he expressed his sadness, taking no time at all. “I was very sad. I mean, I’m not gonna lie. It was a little gutting because Henry just brings the show,” the 33-year-old said. He further explained how Cavill brought the charm to the show and carried “this show on his shoulders for four years now.” As the bard would further assert, the 39-year-old Witcher nerd certainly would have given strength to the dull days and added joy to the good ones. “I’ll miss him, like nobody’s business,” Batey concluded.

However, Jaskier’s character alum also hinted that while he can imagine no one in Cavill’s shoes, but if there is someone who can do it, “it’s Liam.” Hemsworth is notably doing everything to adhere to the bar the Superman actor has set and has already started “quoting random bits of the books.”
