Henry Cavill May Rule Hearts of Millions, but Science Just Does Not Agree for the “Sexiest Man” Claim for the ‘Man of Steel’
Science thinks Henry Cavill may not be the sexiest man. The actor who has made a streak working for fantasy action movies has proved to be so perfect for the roles that replacing him is a challenge. That was apparent from his replacement in The Witcher by Australian actor Liam Hemsworth.
Though his acting skills definitely count as the major reason, his body type and facial features make Cavill ideal for playing a time period or fantasy hero. While he was voted sexiest man alive by a Glamour poll, which many would agree with, science revealed how he may not be as perfect as one would think.

Who beats Henry Cavill in the game of symmetry, as per science?
The obsession and research with regard to facial symmetry has existed since ancient Greek and continues to this day. So when it comes to ratios, Cavill is absolutely one of the top contenders, but who beats him to it? The sexiest man, according to science, is Twilight actor Robert Pattinson. As per the mathematical results, the Superman lead is 91.64% perfect when considering his lips, eyes, and forehead. Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson has the highest score, with a percentage of 92.15%.
Seems like the two end up being pitted against quite often. In fact, Cavill was the first choice when novelist Stephenie Meyer wrote Twilight but later lost the role to Pattinson, with age being a big factor. However, both the British actors have been part of the DC world, With the Lighthouse actor leading Batman and The Tudors actor famously playing Man of Steel.

Bradley Cooper and Brad Pitt took the third and fourth positions, respectively. This was followed by George Clooney, Hugh Jackman, David Beckham, Idris Elba, Kanye West, and Ryan Gosling. It is safe to say all of them have done well for themselves in the entertainment industry, and their acting skills are as great as their facial symmetry.
