Henry Cavill Is Not as Tough as He Seems in The Witcher
Standing at 6 feet 2 inches, The Witcher actor Henry Cavill appears as some tough guy who will probably beat up anyone who messes with him. It seems like he has the strength of the real Superman in arms; which he is ready to use whenever he pleases. But, turns out that the White Wolf is not as tough as his physical appearance makes him seem. Rather, he is a pure gentleman and one of the kindest beings you may ever come across.
Starring as Geralt of Rivia in Netflix‘s fantasy-drama series based on The Witcher books by Andrzej Sapkowski, Cavill only adds to his brute image. Since the character of Geralt speaks more in grunts and sighs (and in F-bombs) than in actual words, people often associate that trait with the British actor as well.

A lot of these assumptions come from the fact that Henry is a pretty masculine dude. The height, built and gigantic stature can often be too intimidating. You can never miss recognizing him, thanks to his appearance. “I’m amazed how many people recognize me with a mask on,” the actor says while talking to The Hollywood Reporter. It is also baffling that Henry is amazed that people recognize him; I can literally spot Henry, even from a hilltop.
The actor has worked in plenty of action movies as well, including DC’s Superman movies, Mission Impossible: Fallout, and The Count of Monte Cristo. All this makes Henry Cavill one of the biggest action heroes of this time, but he is not a household name (yet). Cavill is much more than just his appearance. He undoubtedly is a person with multiple talents, of which action is one.
Henry “Gentleman” Cavill
All of Henry’s bruteness and brawn turn off once you get to know a bit about this boy from Bailiwick of Jersey. The typical day at the set of The Witcher will start with Henry picking one random crew member, shaking their hand, and then asking how their day is going; then Henry will move on to another crew member and repeat the complete process. Lauren Schmidt Hissrich showrunner for the Netflix Original says, “It’s to the point where sometimes our ADs are like, ‘OK, we have a huge crew, you can’t ask everyone.’”

Henry has an explanation for this habit of his. He says, “A set is often rush-rush-rush, and we forget the basic human decencies. I want people to know I respect everything they do and they’re just doing a job like I am. To me, it’s just respect and good manners.”
Man of Steel director Zack Snyder calls Henry “a warrior monk.”
