The world has not been the same ever since Henry Cavill stepped down as DC’s shining armor, the Superman of Hollywood. Just when things could not get worse, the British A-lister gave another major blow to the industry while announcing his exit as the Geralt of Rivia from The Witcher. The world has definitely not recovered from the heartbreaks but seems like things are now hitting an all-time low. 

Although fans were impossibly disheartened at the bad news surrounding Cavill, they still had a few hopes for their favorite in the Highlander Remake. But it seems like, these few years are not exactly doing Henry Cavill a favor. 2023 might have just hinted at another potential shock to movie freaks and most importantly, the diligent followers of the Enola Holmes star. 

Henry Cavill dropped from another major project for the third time

As reported by Giant Freakin Robot, “trusted and proven sources” have revealed that Henry Cavill has been dropped from another major project of his career. The star was previously chosen as the face of the 1986 film remake. Not only fans but legitimate higher authorities were also sure of casting Henry Cavill as the leading role of the remake. Sadly, his luck failed him once again for the third time in a row. 

However, the project is not entirely doomed as another Hollywood A-lister, Chris Hemsworth is emerging as a new ray of hope. The source mentioned that after having Henry Cavill off the charts, the team is currently looking forward to bringing in Hemsworth to play the part. This comes in light of another major announcement that confirmed Cavill getting replaced by Hemsworth for his The Witcher role as well. 

The Thor actor, Liam Hemsworth is now all set to take over his role as the Geralt of Rivia for the Netflix blockbuster. Might be a coincidence, but reports suggest the Hemsworth brothers do have an eye out for the Cavill roles. Nonetheless, their solid fan base is rooting for just that.
