After getting out from two major franchises, Cavill might be let go from another big one. Yet another Hemsworth brother will replace Henry Cavill in a big franchise
From fighting the DC villains to fighting The Witcher world’s evils, Cavill has portrayed a strong action-hero personality. However, it might change when Chris Hemsworth will replace him in the remake of Highlander. The Enola Holmes actor is being let go of the franchise, as reported by Giant Freakin Robot. Although the former Geralt of Rivia would have taken the role to a new level, he is not going to be a part of it anymore.
With his upcoming projects like the live-action adaptation of the Warhammer 40,000 series, The Man from U.N.C.L.E 2, Enola Holmes films as well, and more, the actor will have a busy schedule. Therefore, the director of Highlander decided to let him go by replacing him with Chris Hemsworth.

Hemsworth’s Thor film might take a few more years, leaving the Australian actor available for the franchise. Although he has also proven himself as one of the strongest actors throughout his career, we are yet to see what he would bring to the table for Highlander.
However, Highlander is still in the pre-production phase. Well, there are fewer details about the reboot, except for the involvement of Chad Stahelski as the director, at the moment.
