Everything boils down to DNA after all! While many may want to stab us right in the stomach but the elves and mages from the Witcherverse would certainly see eye-to-eye with us. The Origin Story of The Witcher came as a cherry on top for fans but perhaps could not meet their expectations. However, one good thing that everyone could take from the prequel series is a strong hint of the “heroic sendoff” of Henry Cavill from the fantasy series.

The Witcher: Blood Origin is a power pack of some really splendid fights and some really playful swearings, but what it does the best is at hinting how Cavill’s exit from the monster-butchering mayhem could take place. And we are here to offer you the same.

The origin story of The Witcher hints at how the heroic exit of Henry Cavill will take place

In a quest of taking down a powerful Elven empire, the band of seven warriors creates a beast of their own to take down the monolith the Elvens have bred. While the wizard cousins were successful at creating the prototype of the witcher at first, eventually, as the final battle between Fjall and the monolith takes place, the monster inside of him takes over completely, causing his lover Éile to kill him. The OG series takes place in a world where humans, mazes, witchers, elves, and even monsters co-exist due to the conjunction of spheres some 1,200 years from now.

Notably, showrunner Lauren Hissrich has strongly asserted from the beginning of season 3’s shooting that it will majorly revolve around the Time of Contempt arc. And from the existing two seasons, we also understand that Freya Allan’s Ciri, Geralt’s child surprise, is one of the few people who possess elder blood and hence could use and destroy monoliths. However, she couldn’t still control this powerful magic and hence can cause mass destruction. So a huge showdown between monoliths and Henry Cavill can be one possibility.

Yet another possibility that stands high for Henry Cavill’s grand exit is stopping his child surprise from destroying the world. Forces across the universe know of her elder blood capabilities and are after her to use them to their benefit. One such group of outcasts is Wild Hunt (A group of elves trapped in another world because of the mage, Baron).

So any of these might use Ciri or the princess herself could cause destruction of the world because of her inability to control her power as Eile’s prophet suggested, “The Lark’s seed shall carry forth, the first note of a song that ends all times and one of her blood shall sing the last.” Hence, the heroic sendoff for Cavill’s Geralt is perhaps an attempt to save the entire world.
