A Failed Audition is the Secret Behind the Chiseled Body of Henry Cavill?
A good deal of us may be aspiring to acquire a physique like the very talented British actor, Henry Cavill. However, it was not within a fortnight; neither until strong criticism from a director during his famous audition for an iconic role and could not earn it, that inspired the Tudors actor to reach the heights and attain the discipline he has today.
Although he could not bag the role of 007, which Daniel Craig, later on, went on to play, his roles as the universe’s mightiest superhero and irresistible white-haired monster-hunting mutant in Netflix’s fantasy series did miracles in ways more than one. He might now be one of the most handsome actors with a finely carved, edge-cutting, jaw-dripping body, but Cavill was once a chubby kid. He apparently had to recreate a scene from Sean Connery’s first 007 movie, Dr. No. He had to walk out in a white towel holding a gun to show he could be both sexy and deadly. However, things deteriorated when he met eyes with the director.

The most handsome Sherlock Holmes actor previously acknowledged. He was a chubby kid and in his earlier days Cavill also did not know how to train or take a proper diet. It was only after the James Bond audition that he got serious about his physique, and the rest is history. Fans now cannot resist pinning after his Geralt of Rivia avatar or his appearance in a Superman suit.

The remarks of the James Bond director forever stayed with Cavill, as he later on admitted that he didn’t want to a “dumpy” Geralt or a “fat” Superman, given the importance and weightage of these characters. We can see the hard work he put in into becoming these characters when studying his work in Man of Steel and later, in The Witcher.
