Stranger Things 4 volume 1 left the audience in a grim atmosphere as they are constantly wondering what the next volume will bring. So when Netflix shared a glimpse of Stranger Things season 4 vol 2, fans went all Sherlock Holmes, digging up possible storylines. And one image out of the eight shared by the streamer particularly gave rise to an interesting theory.

A portable gateway in Stranger Things season 4 part 2?

Since the release of volume 2 is only weeks away, viewers are getting eager to know more about the show. So, when the streamer released a few first-look pictures of the upcoming volume, fans didn’t waste any time. They went all in to dissect each detail. While the Dungeons and Dragons manual got a lot of attention, one of the images gave rise to a unique theory.

While noting the D&D manual use, one Reddit user focused on the 5th image in the group. The said image had Steve, Robin and Eddie inside a vehicle at the driving seat area. The fan went on to speculate if the group could be moving the trailer with the gate in it. 

Many fans were happy at the possibility of a portable gateway and agreed with user StrangerWill.

However, few fans disagreed with the idea and said that it seems impossible for all those teenagers to move a huge portal gateway. As it would require physical strength and equipment that they might not have access to.

The discussion further branched into the physics of the gate and whether moving the van will bring about some changes to the gate or the Upside Down. Well, all of these questions will find their answers when volume 2 releases in July.
