Will Smith is singing praises for friend and actor Jamie Foxx, and the fans know why. The Ali co-stars knew each other for a long time before they collaborated for the 2001 movie. Smith, who is quite active on social media, usually uses the platform to promote causes and projects, but also to admire his loved ones.

The I Am Legend actor recently took to Instagram to write a heartwarming tribute to The Million Dollar Wheels star. He tagged the Foxx in the post and wrote, “Beast, singer, actor, comedian…the truth!” It was a fan-made post, shared by the actor on his own page. The tribute post contained five slides, each showing off the talents of this multi-talented celebrity.

Foxx has not only acted in movies but also sang his own songs for some of the scenes. He and Kanye West share a passion for music, leading them to even release their Grammy Award-winning song, ‘Gold Digger’ back in 2005. Along with doing comedic and action roles in movies, he also performs at stand-up comedy shows. His role as Ray Charles in the 2004 film Ray earned him the Academy Award for Best Actor as well.

Fans in the comments agreed with Smith as they pointed out their reasons for adoring the 55-year-old actor to this day.

It was not just fans, but also members of the entertainment world who showered praises on the actor. Former NFL player Emmanuel Acho also called Foxx a beast in the comments, referring to both of them as legendary. Another commented how he is not just familiar with but aces all three categories of acting, comedy, and music.

Foxx himself commented on the post, confessing what a big deal it is to receive such admiration from a star like Will Smith. He returned the Emancipation actor’s words with his own, to show his support for the actor. They also mentioned seeing each other in Paris.

Foxx and Will Ferrell are set to release their film Strays in the summer of 2023. Although it is unsure whether Smith is a part of it or will attend to support the dog-centric comedy film. Meanwhile, fans are also calling for Smith and Foxx to star in a movie again.
